Customers are asking why we do not upgrade our system to use smartphones with an app instead of the actual monitor which would help the non-computer savvy updating to the latest software and would save us a lot of money. The reason is simply a severe safety concern.

A hacker then could do with your truck whatever the CAN bus allows, including to activate airbags or to apply brakes or anything else that can be commanded over the CAN bus. The only must is to remove the DPF, EGR and DEF can stay in place or be removed it dosen’t matter at all.
As soon as you program truck back to stock x you have to put the hardware parts back in otherwise the truck will throw a lot of codes.

Some customers are complaining that with RaceMe tunes you will see only up to 34psi boost and not 40 to 45 like some competitors products achieve at the same power stage.
The reason is that our tunes are made to produce as much horsepower as possible with the lowest possible boost to reduce the stress on components. This is also helping to get better mileage because the high boost causes high exhaust backpressure making it harder for the engine to breathe and causing higher EGT´s as well which not only causes bad economy, it also reduces the lifetime of components. So high boost has several disadvantages if it is not necessary as in race trucks.

Customers are asking what stage of power to use when towing heavy. Basically, I want to state that you can even use the highest power stage if you do it with common sense and care and with control over your right foot. In case of having a leadfoot, it is better to use the lowest setting for heavy towing.

If you drive conventional and not like to have a race truck and never do full throttle shifts from 4th to 5th and 6th gear you will not have issues.
Why is it important not to use cruise control programmed with a higher power level when towing the trailer
When towing a trailer it’s very important not to use cruise control having a higher power stage programmed, and even with a lower power setting, you can destroy your trucks transmission within seconds if you use the resume button to bring the truck back to a higher speed level. Doing that will cause back shifting with the maximum power the engine produces which can burn up your trans clutches within seconds. So if you use cruise control be very careful and use it only on the level ground and if you have to accelerate to a speed level after slowing down, do it only with your right foot and never with the resume button.
